Brand new mobile app reflecting our new identity
Changera relaunches all our brand assets from our logo to fonts and brand colors to reflect the limitless, social and exciting future ahead. We know we’ve been screaming social for a while, well we look just that now and our new mobile app, which we redesigned from the ground up captures this beautifully. At this point, if you don’t already have the new app, you’re missing out big time!
Subscription & virtual domiciliary bank accounts
We know making and receiving foreign payments is extremely tedious for most of our Changers, especially with lots of platforms out there that block your accounts and discriminate based on your location. Well, we fixed this! Introducing virtual pound, dollar, and euro domiciliary bank accounts. These virtual bank accounts work just like you are in these countries and you can make foreign transfers, collect foreign payments and easily convert to local currency. Africans migrating to the US, Europe or UK for work or study can easily get a foreign bank account on our app and start transacting even before traveling. Remote workers, freelancers, and even businesses can use these accounts and easily collect and make payments.

To access these accounts, you’d have to upgrade your account to either a “freelancer” or “premium” subscription account if you didn’t register as a user from either of these foreign countries. The subscription feature automatically makes you a “priority Changer”, just like on an international flight, you get priority access and a front-row ticket to all things Changera. So we are talking about faster transactions, higher limits, and lots more. Switch to the priority side now, upgrade your account to a subscription account
Referrals
This particular feature is quite personal to us because a lot of you Changers have been inviting your friends to Changera for free. Well not anymore! With our referral feature you now get to earn when your friends carry out transactions on Changera for up to 3 years. Guess what, if you referred a friend two months ago, they can add you as the one that referred them, just like going back in time, and you can start earning,
Here’s how you can make money referring users to Changera:
- $1 for a physical card order by your referral
- $0.2 for subsequent virtual cards after the first card by referrals
- $0.5 on your referral’s first transaction greater than $20
- Earn 20% commission on the subscription fee of your referral, when they upgrade to either premium or freelancer plan.

Changers Community
We curated a platform on the Discord app where all our Changers can get to meet each other and also catch up on trending conversations in music, travel, sports, and entertainment. We even added a “Japa” support channel to take your Japa dreams to the next level. The community was also set up for you to make inputs on how we can make Changera better for you and also speak to us faster, so hop in here and interact with us and other Changers.
Just a few things left, phewww we did a lot as Changera relaunches! We lowered fees throughout the app and provided you with more and smoother funding options. Lastly, you now have a better experience with all your favorite features like our EasyDollar virtual & physical card (which is now back), currency conversions and multi-currency wallets, free money transfers, and bill payments.
